DTH hammers are available in sizes from 2 inch to 24 inch for use in the mining, construction, geothermal, and rotary drilling industries.
DTH hammer bits are available in sizes from 2 inch to 36 inch, with all shanks, multiple head/face designs, and with a variety of tungsten carbide button styles to suit a wide variety of drilling conditions.
DTH accessories, including hammer oil and tube, grinding and sharpening tools, adapter, subs, shock absorbs, and more, are available to complement our DTH products offering.
Halco DTH Bits
There are three different bit heads on offer, Convex, Flat Face and Concave, also with three different inserts that can tackle any challenge and rock face formation. The two most important factors in choosing the right drill bit are productivity and reliability. For soft to medium rock formations where penetration rates are high the ballistic and semi-ballistic inserts coupled with flat face or concave bit heads are more suitable. If the rock formation is on the hard to very hard side, it is more advisable to use a domed insert with convex head this will result in a longer drill bit life.
